Should I select a disperser by vessel capacity?

No. Working volume is only one factor. Viscosity, pigment loading, target fineness, blade diameter, speed and vessel geometry should be considered together.

When is an explosion-protection configuration required?

That decision depends on the material, vapor, installation area classification and applicable local rules. Provide this information before the electrical and mechanical configuration is confirmed.

Can one disperser handle different colors and products?

A suitable quick-change and cleaning arrangement can support multi-product use. The cleaning method and wetted-part compatibility should be reviewed for every formulation.

Do I need vacuum de-aeration?

Vacuum may help when air entrapment affects processing or finished-product quality. Whether it is appropriate depends on viscosity, volatility, foaming behavior and the desired result.
